Birthday Camping!

Well, try two at keeping a blog, but at least now I have some one else to write about. And today is even his birthday!

This past weekend both Seth and I had three days off so his sister Amelia and I kidnapped him and took him camping.

I tried blind folding him but it didn't work out too well.

We went up to a spot called Canyon creek above Sadona. We were right near a creek that was great for hiking and rock hopping.

We also went swimming on the second day at Red Rock Crossing, but it was frezzing!! Amelia jumped in, but mostly because Seth tricked her. He said he would jump in if they both went in together, but it didn't really work out that way. Amelia jumped in and Seth didn't. She wasn't too happy about that.

Seth and I only sat in the water just up to our mid-chest. It was so cold!! We didn't get in any farther than that and Seth's other sister Keira didn't get in at all. We plan to go back later this summer when it's warmer. Much warmer!

 But we had a great weekend and can't wait to do more camping this summer. We just have to find the time to get off from work and that pesky thing called responsibility!
